Gulgong Folk Festival is a grass roots, family friendly music festival...
Steeped in folk music tradition, Gulgong Folk festival has provided music, poetry trad sessions, busking, concerts at the Prince of Wales Opera House, dancing and pure folk fun for over 35 years. We welcome you to join us for the weekend from Friday January 12 to Sunday January 14 2024.

GULGONG IS A TOWN STEEPED IN HISTORY
FROM the dusty goldrush days when Gulgong was teaming with thousands of frontiers looking to find their fortune in the 1850's to early settlers staking farming land. A town with a background in mining and agriculture to now a vibrant community with many visitors to Gulgong deciding to make Gulgong district their home. With Mudgee, a large regional centre, at its doorstep and the beauty of the surrounding land. There is no better reason for not visiting over the weeknd of the 2024 Gulgong Folk Festival.
