Fiona Harris and Andy Garland make up local acoustic duo, Tangleweed. The pair has been performing around the Mudgee area as a duo for a couple of years whilst also appearing in the bluegrass band, Blue Valentine and the upbeat, retro covers band Jambalaya.
Fiona is an experienced, strong and moving vocalist who has been a regular performer in the local music scene for the last seven years. However, her recent pairing up with Andy has seen an evolution in her singing style and performance genres.
Andy Garland is an accomplished guitarist who has been performing since a young age. Inspired by such performers as Eric Bib, Snuffy Walden and Harry Manx, Andrew does more than just play the guitar, he makes it sing.
Tangleweed will take you on a journey through blues and roots territory with moving ballads, gospel signatures, blues classics and hillbilly ditties that will leave you wanting more. Definitely worth a listen!
